One of the favorite snacks of kid and slobs alike would definitely be potato chips. Potato chips are famous and enjoy great popularity all over the world. A potato chip bag is made of a thin plastic covering with aluminum foil-based inside layer.

Potato chip bags aren't packed with air, but of nitrogen gas. This can be done to stop the chips from oxidizing, that is part of what makes them go stale. Oxygen is extremely reactive, and likes to mix with different molecules whenever it will, inflicting chemical changes to require place. Nitrogen, however, is extremely stable and unreactive. A questionable “nitrogen atmosphere” is nice for storing foods that oxidize quickly, like chips of potato and bacon.
